Remember this antique piece of furniture that I got after I went here? Well, it's time for the much anticipated makeover.
I got this fabric to recover the seat, simply because I just loved the print, and need to decide on a paint colour to disguise that hideous wood!
Originally I was thinking I would just do it white... but now the idea of a matching yellow is stirring around in my noggin.
So... this is where you come in. Help me decide!!! White, or yellow?

First things first ... LOVE that fabric! Hmmm ... I would vote for the yellow as it is a bit unexpected and cheerful :) Though, regardless of the color you choose that is going to be one fab looking piece of furniture ... can't wait to see it in all of its madeover glory!

ReplyDeleteAh...white is classic and you won't really tire of it...Yellow is hip and trendy right now...If you paint it yellow I bet you'll be painting it again around Christmas...good luck.

ReplyDeletewhat a charming pattern you chose Dana, it's always so fun to diy a treasure like this! i might be way off the mark here but if it were mine and my home interior would work the "quirk" i'd probably paint each side differently. the color palette is a bounty of choices and i might also do it in slightly more vibrant tones too.
