I had a spur of the moment desire to dress up slightly for the little cutie trick-or-treaters last night. My version of some Dia De Los Muertos styles...
A little boy asked me what my costume was... I didn't know how to tell him so I paused for a moment and said... "I'm a skeleton"!
Of course I had to dress Bear up in his little plush pumpkin costume too! I'm pretty sure he loves it. He gets all excited when I pull it out every year. When he gets too hot I just let him wear the hat!
OH hey, I'm giving away a pretty sweet Wonder Forest Christmas prize pack over at Story of My Life today!!!! Go enter!!
In sadder news, my car died yesterday. We were waiting for this day to come... and I'm pretty sad about it. I've had that car for so long and it has so many memories inside of it! Is that weird? So right now we have no car, can't really afford a new one, and now that Dustin is finally able to work, his plans for finding a job this week have been compromised a bit. In a town without regular buses or anything I'm not really sure how we're gonna get around at the moment. It will work out, somehow... because it has to. (but you should really check out my shop and pick up some xmas gifts or check out my design services because it would definitely help the Crappy Used Car fund I just started. Literally, just started this second. haha)
How was your Halloween? Are you a stay at home candy hander-outer, or do you take your own kiddos out?
P.s. did you notice my new sponsors hanging out on my sidebar today!!? yay!

ReplyDeleteMy Halloween was fun -- no trick or treaters but I took my little panda out and he got a baggie full of doggie treats. (see for pictures http://arthurs-adventures.blogspot.com/2011/10/halloween-fun-post-from-alex.html)
