When you stumble upon Nichelle's blog, you kinda can't help but love her. She started blogging during her recovery after a serious sledding accident and since then she's been spreading sunshine and silliness through her posts.

Nichelle also owns a little biz under the same name of Vintage Wanna Bee, and her colourful accessories are just too cute to resist!

So why not take a break and get to know this lovely lady?! I got a little interview with her, and there might even be something in store for you if you read to the end!!

   

How long have you been making your accessories?
I've been making accessories for a little over a year. I started my blog and shop after I was in a serious accident. I had a lot of down time while I was recovering and just decided to design and craft! It kept me sane, and people loved my story, so I kept at it. It's been a crazy adventure, that I never thought I would be on, but I love it, and feel very blessed. You can read more about my story HERE.

I love the vibrant colours of your rosettes! What inspires your creations?
Life. Being happy. Sunshine. I love life, even with it's ups and downs. I believe that you're only as happy as you decide to be. The items I make and the way my blog looks is no accident. It's me, through and through. Don't believe me, well, maybe I should take a picture of my bright pink and teal sheets and my Disney Princess poster, and maybe then you will. I believe if you surround yourself with positive people, positive energy and a positive outlook, then life has no choice but to be fantastic and wonderful!

   

Do you have any New Years resolutions? What is your ultimate goal for your shop and/or blog?
I want to inspire. The goal for my blog this year is: Laugh, Create, Inspire. I want to leave this world a better place, and help all my friends, (real and bloggy alike) in any way that I can. We're nothing without those around us, and we can all learn from each other. It's a tall order, but, I'm hoping I can make a difference, even if it's just a little one.

On your blog, you share lots of awesome tutorials. What one is your favourite and why?
Oooh man, I love tutorials. I think my favorites are the Disney Princess Headband Tutorials I did. I made them right as my blog was starting, just to be silly and fun, and so many people loved them. I would have to say, my favorite is the Jasmine Beret I made.  I also love the one time I made a ruffle headband out of duct tape... Haha.

For all the other bloggers out there, if you could give them one piece of advice in regards to blogging what would it be?
Have patience, you don't "hit the big time" until you've put in a lot of time, effort, sweat, blood and tears. But, if you love it, keep at it. I also think the most important thing is to always be yourself. Your blog should be an outlet for you to be creative, and should be something you are passionate about. I love blogging, and I've literally met some of my best friends from blogging, don't be afraid to share YOU on your blog.
