This nail design is super easy and can be used with a variety of different colours! My original creation consisted of mint with lilac tips, which was perfect for Easter! I came up with this design as a quick fix for worn off polish on my tips, so it doubles as a quick "cover up" too!
Paint your nails one solid colour. Let dry completely.
Brush secondary colour over the tips diagonally, in two swipes, starting from the edge of your nail up towards the center.
How easy was that!? I'd love to try out a bunch more colour combinations. What are some of your favourite nail colours this season??

How adorable! I've never thought of doing this with my nails, but now I'm definitely going to try it! Love it.

ReplyDeletei love this :)
ReplyDeleteThis is so cute :) and perfect for little me, who can never decide which colour to wear.
ReplyDeleteOh My GGG! Dana I stumbled across these creative nails you have done and have to say these nails are absolutely gorgeous..I lurve the mint colour nail vanish..i have one similar in colour to it..mine is L'Oreal Paris..However I am a little disappointed with mine..as it chips easily:(!
ReplyDeleteYou have inspired me to re-create a look for these nails. I did try with a peachy colour base coat then add black on the tip of nails. I did struggle a little bit as the black vanish brush was a bit big for my tips:(! So they aren't as neat as yours:/
My blog posts is here..if you want to check it out:-
