When Nicole contacted me from Radiant Cosmetics, I lit up with joy! She wanted me to try out her products and obviously, being a makeup junkie, I said "heck yes!"
The first thing I noticed while browsing her shop was how awesome the colour selection was... and how vibrant everything seemed! I'm like a kid in a candy store when it comes to vibrant coloured eye shadow. I knew I had to try some for myself.
A couple weeks later, I received a sweet little package with some of my top choice colours inside. I was so eager to test these out! There were five in total, so I spent the next three days creating different looks with each one:
For this first look, I used my Goldilocks and Penny Lane frost shadows. I was very impressed with how pigmented they were and would have no trouble comparing them to more well-known brands like Urban Decay.
The next day, I tried out Whimsy, a gorgeous sea blue, along with a matte shadow called Souffle. Souffle wanted to go on pretty dark so I used it sparingly. It is a dark chocolate brown that is essential in any girl's makeup bag.
Lastly I paired up Sorbet with Penny Lane for an orangey simple but striking combination. I love this combination as an every day look, especially for summer. It kind of gives a little twist to basic neutral palettes and would look great on any eye colour.
There is more to Radiant than just pretty makeup. They donate 20% of all sales to Free The Captives, an organization that is dedicated to stopping human trafficking. You can read all about their partnership and human trafficking here.
My overall impression of Radiant Cosmetics? Definitely a great brand with great colour choices, and the quality is awesome. The website also has liners, mascaras and more if you want to take a peek!
