I feel like whenever I post outfit photos, they are so different than your typical "fashion blogger" outfit posts.... and I kinda like it. My style is not at all chic or meticulously put together... and quite frankly I'm glad it's not. I'm casual, through and through! If I can't sit cross-legged in my office chair comfortably all day long, I won't wear it. This is me. Fashion should be a true reflection of who you are, I think. Dress me up in a fancy pant-suit, adorned with jewelry, and I guarantee I will want to rip it off immediately.
I rarely wear jewelry unless it's a thick bracelet, a long-chained necklace, or a cute ring. The one that I'm wearing in the pic is made by my friend Jessica, and I truly do love it!! It's definitely a style that I would wear every single day... and I even had it personalized with "let's run away"... a reminder to myself that it's ok to let myself go sometimes. She just released these ones here if you want to check them out.
What is your everyday "style"? Are you a casual dresser like me or do you like to get all dressed up?

LURVE your style!!!
ReplyDeleteI'm a casual dresser! which is why I LOVED this post from you, VERY refreshing! : )
ReplyDeleteAhhhhh!! Thank you SO much for the kind words!! They really mean a lot! I am so happy you love it!
ReplyDeleteI thought it might go with your style! ;) I love your outfit posts!!
And I agree 100% that "fashion should be a reflection of who you are" and that you should be you & feel comfortable with what you wear!!
Thank you love!
xoxo
Jessica
My style changes depending on my mood and what I'm currently into. I can go from goth chic to bohemian/hippy to my current ensemble of star&moon overalls, a purple t-shirt, and a purple fuzzy backpack for a purse xD
ReplyDeleteI'm definitely more casual than anything. ...Gah, you are too cute. :)

Of I could I'd wear a tank, jeans and skate shoes EVERYWHERE! I am truly a casual dresser, always 100% cotton/modal/bamboo. I occasionally enjoy dressing up..but that's limited to about once every few months haha
ReplyDeleteOverly casual. I'm a jeans and free t-shirts that I got at a tech conference kind of gal. Almost never any jewelry (I hate how it feels, and I barely own any). I am the anti-fashion 95% of the time.
ReplyDeleteLovin' that shirt!

that bracelet is perfect!! and i think it's good that you just stick to your own style. i'm definitely not the one to wear high heels very often. i could wear flip flops all year round if the snow didn't stop me. adore!!

Love this casual look! Pretty pictures, xo
ReplyDeleteI love casual and comfy. That's mostly me. Lately I've been wearing a lot of dresses because it has just been so freakin hot and humid in Houston. Although, I only wear regular clothes a couple times a week. I run a doctors office so I wear scrubs everyday!
ReplyDeleteI love your style! I think it is perfectly you and I love casual wear as well! That bracelet is truly awesome!
ReplyDeleteCarlee
Definitely casual... I work from home, so if I get out of my pajamas and into gym clothes it's progress!

You are right, fashion is a true reflection of who you are inside. And every person is different, so that's the beauty of fashion & style. Everyone should embrace it.

Super cute! Love how you pull off the sporty socks x Sushi
ReplyDeleteI am definitely casual. I sit more like a boy than a girl, which is one reason why I never ever wear skirts. I wear shorts and jeans, cute t-shirts, tank tops and rarely ever sweaters because I get so hot. I'm most comfortable in a tee, jeans, flats or other cute shoes and sometimes, jewelry/accessories!!!
ReplyDeleteYOU look BEAUTIFUL.
Love the socks, they make this outfit!

I love your style and wish I had more of a fashion sense. I hate dressing up too, but somehow have gotten myself into a job where it's necessary. I struggle to find clothes that are both comfortable and acceptable for an office job.
ReplyDeleteI agree fashion is a reflection of you and if that's your style and you love it then that's what it is, i love it too by the way lol.
ReplyDeleteI adore your style posts because it is so REAL! So thank you!
ReplyDeleteAnd my style is very relaxed and casual but I do love getting ALL glammed up when I have a reason to!
I love this outfit! It's cute and casual, which is just fine! I agree that fashion is just a reflection of who you are and your outfits always reflect you perfectly.
ReplyDeleteThat bracelet is awesome. I think I might just have to get one.
My style is currently jeans and a tank or sweatshirt but I think that is because I always wake up and am running late. Lately I have been buying things not so typically me and I am actually loving it. I just need to be better about wearing them everyday!
ReplyDeleteBut I do agree fashion is a reflection of you. And although I am usually found in baggy jeans and a loose sweatshirt, that really is not me anymore but it is so hard to change a habit!
I understand you so well. I feel the same way. I need to be comfortable at all cost! :)
ReplyDeleteLoving your blog! Xo
