Today we are having perfect weather. The kind of weather that makes me know that September is still gripping onto the last strings of summer, in hopes of stretching it as far as it will go. I get so antsy sitting at my desk all day. It's days like these that I wish we didn't unwillingly become a one car couple, so I could escape somewhere and soak up the sun. I went for a walk instead. Down the hill, through the trails, and near the river where I could hear kids playing in it nearby. I had a sudden urge to sit myself down and stay there the rest of the day... just to enjoy the world. When was the last time you found a calm, quiet place and just existed for once?

ReplyDeleteI looove that sweater! So much! The last time I sat down and just existed...I can't remember. I'd like to say that spending time with my son was when I just existed, but he keeps me so busy. I don't know the last time that I just sat down by myself and existed. Perhaps it's time.
