places to go: shopaholic edition!

Happy Saturday! Saturdays are good for one thing... Sitting cross-legged in front of your computer in your pajamas while checking out awesome shops. I know I'm not the only one who does it! Well, I've taken the time to put together this here list of some of my sponsors' products and services, and I KNOW you'll love them!  Give them a browse and let me know which one you like best!

 { Meet Allison of Umba Box }

{ Meet Violet of Violet D'Art }

I am a self taught photographer from Bulgaria. I love escaping into the world with my camera, and then out of it with the use of colors and textures. Not really limiting myself to one style, I always let my inspiration guide me in its own direction. From moody landscapes of the sea, the rain, the sky, to vintage inspired still life, travel and ttv photography. Fine art, creative photography is a big passion of mine, because it lets me to express myself through self-portraits and the surreal.
In my Etsy shop I sell beautiful and affordable home decor photography prints that will look lovely in every home, and large size wall art.

{ Meet Ash of Outfit Additions }

We are a California based store selling a variety of fashion jewelry, belts and wallets. We focus on product that is relatively simple in design that has either an interesting pattern and/or a pop of color. Our product is always priced under $60. Free shipping and free 45 day returns on all orders.

{ Meet Janalyn of August Wrinkle }

"A Little Boutique in a Big World". We are a small family owned business from Honolulu, Hawaii that officially launched in January 2012. Our clothing selections are carefully selected to meet the expectations of our customers, but we also keep affordability in mind. We always strive to inspire our shoppers and evoke some type of feeling when people visit our shop. Since we are an online-only based company, we still try to maintain that 'boutique' vibe by packaging your items with care and some of that fluffy tissue paper. We feel that customer service is still of the utmost importance, and we treat every customer as part of our August Wrinkle family. We hope you enjoy your shop as much as we do!

{ Meet Stephanie of Fairground Media }

Hey, I'm Stephanie Peterson, e-commerce blogger over at Fairground Media. I recently wrote an e-book called, "Love Potion: Creating Wild Customer Attraction," and if you're an online shop owner I think you'll love it!
A very common dilemma-- especially in the handmade/artisan community-- is that aspiring shop owners put their heart and soul into a new online store only to hear crickets chirping in response.

Making sales is harder than most people foresee, but it isn't impossible! Click on over to my Love Potion page to learn more about the e-book and see whether or not it's right for you.

If you are interested in sponsoring Wonder Forest and having your own shop appear on a fancy little post like this, head on over to my advertise page for deets!  Ads can start at any time, so you don't have to wait until the beginning of the month!

  2. I've been wanting to try Umba Box, but I'm worried I wont like some of the stuff they include. I'm really picky with that sort of thing.

  7. Violet's photos are absolutely gorgeous! All the boutiques listed here are lovely as well.

    Have to say I'm with Kristina about Umba Box. Love, love the idea. I can be outlandishly particular, though! Just totally neurotic when it comes to picking out things for myself or my home. So I think you need to be saner than I am to fully enjoy the service. :)
