It's quiet here during the day. Like, horror movie quiet when you reach the middle of the woods. The leaves are crisping and falling all over the place. It's jacket weather... and I'm in luck because I just so happen to be a jacket hoarder. It's times like this that I do not miss the city at all. The only sense of nature I had while living in Toronto was from a few trees across the street from us, planted in a small park. How I missed the country so badly! This is where I want to stay. This is home.

ReplyDeleteThe nature-less aspect of Toronto just added to the dirty/industrialized feel that it had.
My sweetheart showed me what life was like outside the "big box" and I haven't looked back.
I visit it from time to time but I'll never go back. It's not home. Home is where my soul is at peace.

So pretty! Things aren't quite that orange here, but things are getting there; leaves are starting to fall. I think the fiance and I are going to go camping sometime in the next week or so, which will be nice. The trees will be beautiful, and the weather, I'm sure, will be just as nice. :)

ReplyDeleteI would choose the country side over city any day! Living in the suburbs of Miami isn't AS country like what you would see in northern country sides. Here its humid, sticky, and mosquito city. Either way I love what I can get out of it for the mean time!
