run with the wolves

bb dakota 'bostwick jacket' | spirit of the wolf sweat: c/o crywolf clothing
leopard jeans: f21 | fur boots: old, not sure.

I have to admit, I've worn this wolf top like three days in a row this week. It was made by two local homegirls (yeah I said that) Stephanie and Rose, for their line Crywolf. I kind of love that.  I'm a huge fan of local indie businesses and I just adore everything in their shop.  You can also save 10% with code "wonder" in their shop!  This jacket is from last year. It was one of those HAVETOHAVEIT purchases and pretty much sat in my closet forever. I've officially broken it out and this year it will be worn, oh yes. I have a problem with jackets... I absolutely love to buy them thinking that I will get so much use out of them (jacket hoarder over here), but they never seem to "work" right for the weather. For example, this baby wouldn't hold up in weather colder than today... which is coming soon. So I might get to wear it maybe 5 times before needing a thicker one... and everybody wonders why my closet is overflowing.  Canadian problems. Come on, I can't be the only one...?

Oh, by the way, I updated the "shop" link in my menu bar. Now when you click it you can check out all of my different shops. I also added a cool new "stuff i love" page in there which is a curated collection of a bunch of stuff I love from different shops. Fun!

  6. Hahaha. "Canadian problems." The only type of clothing I ever hoarded, I think, were flip flops. I probably had a couple dozen pairs back when I was high school and thought I needed every single color of those rubber slip-ons. Now I have two pairs, and they've both lasted more than three years. SCORE. I do hope you get to wear this jacket/coat a little bit more this season. It's pretty spectacular. The look reminds me of that layering photo you posted a couple weeks ago.

    1. Haha! I definitely hoard shoes too, not flip flops, but various other kinds... and rarely wear them. :\ maybe having a blog will be my excuse for pulling out unworn things again lol.

  13. As a newish Canadain, I have to say your post today made me chuckle. Oh, the joys of little Autumn weather. I love that cardigan/jacket though. I definitely need one of those - although it would probably be confined to the house for indoor wear - if only Canada were warmer. It's my first winter in Ontario - so I'm hoping it's easier than the previous two in Alberta! - brrrr - bring on cold weather, hot chocolate and stew.

Thanks for making me smile x

  15. Ha! Yeah you're not the only one with the coat 'problem'..... It's the quick season changes. On the bright side we get to buy lots of different coats, for each season and the ones in between! Love that coat though.
