Best Of... Helping Hand Edition

Welcome to the last of my "Best Of" posts! I can't believe it's the end of 2012 already. I can't wait to say hello to 2013!! As my last post of the year, and because I think it's great to try new things (and what a better time!?) I thought I'd pull up some of those posts that can help teach you something or are geared towards helping bloggers and businesses. Here we go!

Happy end of 2012!! What have you learned this year?

New design for the new year!

Well... here it is!! My brand new blog design! I don't know what inspired this one really. I was dying for a splash of colour but also wanted to simplify things with blacks and whites. I'm not a very greyscale kinda girl, so this is what it turned into. I quite like it! I've also condensed things and added new stuff. Take a peek around! What do you think???

Best Of... DIY Edition

These "Best Of" posts really bring back some memories! This weekend I'm sharing my top DIY projects with you all! I love creating, and sharing what I create so that YOU can make stuff too is so rewarding. Here is my collection of my favourite DIYs and tutorials. Click the images to view the posts!

Which project was your favourite? What kind of DIY projects would you like to see on here in 2013??? Home decor, sewing....? Let me know!

Best Of... Motivation Edition.

In continuation of my "Best Of" posts, I've put together a collection of my favourite inspirational/motivational posts here. Sometimes we just need a little push in the butt to get moving. Sometimes all it takes are words written on a computer screen to inspire somebody. Here are my ramblings. You can check out my Best of... Beauty Edition from yesterday here. What inspires you? What post was your favourite?

Best Of.... Beauty Edition.

This year has been an amazing one for Wonder Forest. I'm so thankful for all of you for stopping by and reading my nonsense. Over the next couple of days I'm going to be highlighting some of my favourite posts, starting today with a collection of some makeup and beauty stuff I've shared. Blogger tells me that I have about 600 posts which is kind of insane, so I've weeded through them and am presenting them to you on a nice little digital silver platter. Just click on the images to check out the posts. Here we go!

I'd love to know which your favourite was!
In the new year, do you want to see more beauty tutorials?

Endings and beginnings!

Well, it's all over! I hope you had a wonderful Christmas with your families and loved ones. After tearing open our presents for one another, Dustin and I (and Bear!) spent the day up at my mom's place with my family. As usual, she sent us home with buckets full of food so I'm sure the next few days will be full of turkey sandwiches and leftovers.

I'm super excited to show you one of the gifts Dustin gave me... soon ;). It's something that I have wanted for a long time and will make things so much easier around here!

To top off the holiday joy, my Blog Wonderful eBook is now available on Amazon for digital download and will soon be available in all other digital eBook stores!  I'm pretty excited about this! I converted the entire thing into downloadable format for your kindle app or e-reader, and you can now grab it right here!

This version has been edited and is in a nice book format for easy reading anywhere. I would love it if you would leave a nice review if you've read the interactive blog version or picked up a digital copy for yourself! This is just the beginning of new things coming in the new year!!

Lastly, I've had some ad spaces open up so if you are interested in scooping one up, head on over to my advertise page.

How did you spend Christmas?! p.s. isn't my nephew the cutest!?

Mustard, you and I are friends.

sweater: c/o romwe | hat and gloves: made by me | leggings: american apparel winter leggings

I broke my yellow hatred for this sweater. In case you haven't been around long, I never wear yellow. It's not that I don't like the colour, in fact, I love it... but it's always looked absolutely horrible on me and my closet was definitely lacking that sunshine punch. When I stumbled upon this beaut from Romwe, I was hesitant, but my heart wanted that golden mustard in my life.  Guess what? It's quickly become my favourite sweater this season, and I LOVE it paired with "oxblood". Okay, really, can we just call it what it is: burgundy. I feel like the term "oxblood" has been popping up everywhere as though it's some cool new shade of deep red that has never been in style before.

Also, how cool is my new "vintage" phone?! I'm kind of excited about it because you can actually put coins in it and everything... and I only paid a whole $13 for it from a Gilt sale. I know!! It also comes in Pink and Red.

Anyways, happy Christmas Eve friends! I hope you have a wonderful one, and a merry Christmas too. Eat lots of cookies and laugh a lot. If you couldn't tell from the photos, it looks like it's going to be a white Christmas for us after all!
