I think Benny is missing Christmas. He had made himself a nice little comfy spot under the tree over the holidays where he would sleep the day away. With the tree gone, I think he's a little confused. I found him sleeping in the same awkward spot on the carpet today, looking a little depressed. Cats are weird.
It's 3pm and my day is just starting. I have a new suggestion: let's make the entire month of December a worldwide holiday. Good idea or not? One week just isn't enough. I'm still working on stuff I wanted to have done over my little vacation. Oh well, can't have everything I guess! Hi ho, hi ho.... you know the rest.

I love your sweater, and your cat looks adorable (even if he's sad about Christmas ending). I feel a bit like him. I let my boyfriend take the tree out today, because I can't stand it! Removing all the decorations almost made me cry. I'm as crazy as a cat. :)

ReplyDeleteDon't worry they will be back once the snow clears. I haven't been able to make the long trek into my backyard forest without big boots and snow pants haha.
DeleteI locked my cat in the bedroom while taking the tree down and putting out outside for the recycle people to pick it up, and when he came running out into the living room he stopped where the tree was and kept looking from left to right, confused. It was hilarious. Poor kitty!
