Travel to New Places
I don't travel much... at all. Even going to the post office is an adventure for me on any given day. If you've stuck around for a while, you'll know the reason for this is my crazy agoraphobic mind. Still, I plan on getting out more and putting myself in those uncomfortable situations by traveling more. Traveling doesn't have to be some well planned out vacation. It can be a quick roadtrip to a town you haven't visited before just for the purpose of experiencing a new place.
Love Your Body
When you eat right and stay active, you'll have more energy to do the things you love. Do little things, like making a smoothie every day. These past few months I've been in a bit of a slump but have a new elliptical I'll be putting to use daily (hopefully I don't eat my words) and will be more mindful of what I put into my body. Your body is yours and the only one you get, so why not make it feel good?
Creating is the essence of Wonder Forest. I encourage you all to get more creative and use your natural abilities to make art. I'm going to try venturing back into painting. Buy a sketchbook or write in a journal. Use your mind and your hands to produce things that speak to you.
What good is a year gone by if you haven't learned anything? I'm currently doing a calligraphy course by Molly Jacques on Skillshare and learning more about photography. Learning is as simple as picking something you want to know more about and researching it.
When I was younger, I used to read non stop. Then life took over and I barely find the time to sit down with a book. Lately, I've been reading A New Earth by Eckhart Tolle and it's changed my entire outlook on life. I recommend it highly. Read for fun, but also read to open your mind to new possibilities and ideas and to gain a greater knowledge.
