30 Second Rocker Chic // Festival Style with LuLu*s

T-shirt: vintage

Make a 30 second t-shirt vest:

OH hey! Notice anything different? I’m blonde again! Well, I guess not “again” to you guys since I don’t think I’ve dyed my hair since I started this blog. My friend/hair stylist Tara came over on the weekend and we de-virginized my undyed hair. Gotta admit, I’m still a little freaked out by it and get sad when I think about how long it took to grow my hair out to be dye free. We actually wanted to ombre it, and it was looking great and just how I wanted it to be. She mixed in highlights and left a ton of my real hair in there. Then came the toner, and for some reason it completely lightened my entire natural hair as well, which wasn’t supposed to happen. So, I guess I’m just a blonde again? Still not sure how I feel about this and you might see me with a new hairstyle again soon but I’m trying to get used to it.

Anyways, today is the last day of my Festival Style series with LuLu*s!  I got this jumpsuit and had the task of trying to figure out how to wear it so that it didn’t look like I just came from the club, so I ripped up a Black Sabbath t-shirt and made it a little more rocker chic. I paired it with tons of accessories, including the feather crown I showed you how to make a couple of weeks ago. I think it turned out pretty festival-esque, and the jumpsuit is so breezy and perfect for hot days.

Thanks to everyone who entered the $100 LuLu*s gift card giveaway too! After nearly 2,000 entries, I’m happy to announce that the winner is….. Lauren Lionheart! Please watch your email for a message from me! Congrats!

If you like this effect I’ve used on my photos above, I’ve just transformed it into a brand new Photoshop action in my design shop, aptly named Festival! You can download it here.

Speaking of hair, have you ever had a dye job gone wrong?
