I don’t think I’ve done one of these posts before, so it should be fun. I always tend to go through products and just throw them out, but lucky for you, I’ve held onto them so I can share some of the products I’ve used up (and even replenished) lately.
Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer Potion – Anti-Aging (click to buy)
I picked this up at Sephora a few months ago because I needed a new primer and thought that because it said “Anti-Aging” it would be better than their regular version for old fools like me. I’m not honestly sure if it made a difference in the anti-aging category (really, I can never tell if these types of products are actually working) but I feel good about using it just because it says that. I know, I was totally sucked in by the marketing but if it’s supposed to be “anti-aging” then why not just use it?! I will be purchasing again.
Rimmel Exaggerate Eye Liner (click to buy)
This is my favourite liquid liner with a felt tip pen. It lasts for what seems like forever and glides on so smoothly.
L’oreal Magic Skin Beautifier BB Cream (click to buy)
As many of you know, I LIVE for this stuff. This has to be my 5th empty bottle now and I’ve just stocked up on two more. If you want an awesome light coverage that actually magically evens out your skin tone, try this asap! They have 2 new ones as well for covering redness and anti-fatigue.
First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair Cream (click to buy)
I originally bought this for my face to combat dryness but stopped using it for reasons I will mention in the next paragraph. It works really well, but the majority of it was used on my hands, elbows, etc. I tend to get random eczema attacks and this definitely helps for that. I’m not sure I’d buy this again, simply because I don’t need it anymore, but I would recommend it to anyone looking for a great moisturizer that works on tough areas.
Cosmetic Skin Solutions Vitamin C+E Serum (click to buy)
Alright, now this stuff has become one of my skincare must-haves. It was recommended to me by a friend who is a skincare specialist to battle the redness/scarring that would pop up on my face once a month and take forever to go away. She recommended a higher priced C+E serum, but I happened to find this one with the same ingredients for much cheaper. It has been a lifesaver and this is my second bottle. I haven’t had to use a moisturizer since this, and my redness has totally healed. I do have before and after shots… but they are pretty unsightly. If you want to see them let me know and perhaps I will do a post. Either way I highly recommend this stuff.
So there are some of my recent empties! What have you been loving lately that I should try?
